The Christmas Boutique

Download the application for the Christmas Boutique here. There is no fee to participate. Applications will also be available on the gallery.

The dates will run from Friday Nov 20 to Dec 21. We will be turning the studio into additional display space for items since all classes will be over for the season.

Space may become limited so please fill out your applications and let us know if you will be participating. This should be a great opportunity for sales!! Analysis of past sales in the gallery indicate that 75% of the items sold were $30-35 in value.

Norris Public Library

Everyone is invited to the Norris Library, Rutherfordton, NC on October 6th, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a reception and to view Evelyn Roberson's show for the month of October.

Come and show your support and eat up on Evelyn's goodies at the reception.

Next Dulcimer Music Night. Tuesday, September 29. 7 pm.

Art for Fun "make it and take it" night. October 16 -- this is a Friday instead of a Thursday.

Celebration of the Arts September 18 to 22

Applications for Celebration of the Arts are due September 11. Download from the rcvag.com website or pick up a copy at the Visual Arts Center, 173 N. Main Street, Rutherfordton. Works accepted for the show must be delivered to the Foundation on Thursday, September 17 between 12 and 2.

The Celebration opens on Friday, September 18 and the gala reception and awards presentations take place from 5 to 7 p.m. This year's show runs for five days!

ART FOR FUN

Art for Fun Night at the Visual Arts Center.

Thursday, August 27th, 6 to 8 p.m. Choose to make a mosaic or paint with acrylics.

All materials provided. Catering by Angie's. $25.

The next Dulcimer Music Night will be Tuesday, August 11 from 7 to 9. Bring your dulcimer and join Richard Beard and Dot Lane in making music. Or just come to listen. Register at 288-5009. All skill levels welcome.
